Heroes, Xbox 360, and Atreyu are three contemporary icons that are important to me. Heroes is a television show on NBC that my girlfriend and I watch every week on Thursday night. The show actually airs on Monday nights, but we watch it on NBC onDemand. Xbox 360 is a video game console made by Microsoft. I work with video games at a video game shop called GameCrazy in Zanesville. Atreyu is a rock band that I have liked for some time and I listen to them probably at least once a day.
I chose these icons because they all their own meaning to me in a way. I like Heroes because the show is about how super heroes could exist in the real world. Another reason I like Heroes so much is that my girlfriend and I watch it every week. The Xbox 360 has a lot of great games on it that I enjoy to play. Playing games is a great stress reliever for me; it allows me to get away from reality for a bit.
Out of all three I would say that Atreyu is my favorite. I can listen to their music no matter what mood I am in. Every morning I wake up and listen to one of their albums. I haven’t me a lot of people that like them though. Most people don’t enjoy screaming in music, but I think it sounds really good with a balance of singing.

Heroes is a GOOD SHOW! It keeps me wondering what is going to happen. And the Xbox 360 the main thing on my son's Christmas list!
